	Description: Qira Prefix: DZ Detachment: Underworld Detachment Context: Solo: A Star Wars Story Qi’ra was a human female from the planet Corellia who lived during the reign of the Galactic Empire. She grew up on the streets along with Han Solo before becoming part of an opulent life working for the Crimson Dawn gang.

This Visual Guide has been reviewed by the detachment staff and the LMO team and is certified for use as a minimum approval guideline for GMLs. GMLs are free to approve this costume type. This document is not intended to be a detailed how-to on costume construction; rather a visual guide to be used for 501st costume approval. Details on construction may be found on the respective costume detachment web forum. GMLs uncertain about an aspect of submitted costume shall post questions in the appropriate DL/GML peer review section of the Legion forum. Measurements given in this document are intended to be approximate and generalized; not criteria for approval. Requirements for all 501st costumes are proportional to the wearer in scale, fit and size. Text descriptions are only one part of the guideline. GML's and costumers must consider both text and pictures (CRL and Reference) when reviewing the costume.

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below.

	Hair and Face The hair is brown in color and pulled into a pony tail. There are bangs that are facing the wearers right side.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The ponytail is held back by a braided band that is the same color as the hair. This strap wraps twice. The wearer has black eyeliner and red lipstick.

	Jacket The jacket ends at the costumer’s natural waistline which is between the bottom of the ribcage and belly button. The jacket is cream or light beige in color and made from suede or suede cloth.  There is a large collar that has an inset of fur that resembles dark brown sheep skin. The collar extends past the wears shoulders. There is two rows of dark brown piping on the inside of the collar. The back collar is top stitched three times. Dark brown piping runs the entirety of the outer edge of the collar. Two Imperial Code Cylinders are attached to the section between the base collar and the fourth row of stitching. The clip has a metal top bar.  There is a thin line of trim inside the right flap of the collar. There is a small rectangular greeblie on the costumers' bottom right edge of the jacket. The greeblie is black with inlay and squares and features a single red square on the left. The sleeves and jacket are form fitting and tailored to the wearer. There are knife pleats on the inside of both sleeves; they run the full length of the sleeve to the cuff. The cuff has brown piping at the top. There is dark brown piping running down the outside edge of the sleeve. The back of the jacket has princess seams. If the costumer removes their jacket the optional keyhole in the shirt and brand is included.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): If the jacket closes it is hooked on the left of breast with 4 hooks with bars. There is a 1.5 inch border on the bottom edge jacket. However it is not present on the front center panel. The sleeves are raglan style with a shoulder seam and wrap around stitching with an inset sleeve. The trim on the inside edge of the jacket is electrical wire which is two small cords.  All piping on the jacket is dark brown. The stitching on the collar is double top stitched every inch, in five (5) parallel columns from the outer edge of the collar. The fourth (4th) line of stitching is covered by the imperial clip.

	Shirt Simple V neck crossover shirt made from black suede or peachskin like fabric.  The collar extends the full length of the wrap front. The shirt wraps around the wearer, with the left side wrapping over the top of the right side. There is a wide border at the bottom of the shirt and collar. The sleeves of the shirt end above the costumers elbow.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The shirt has a keyhole opening at the back of the neck which extends to the middle of the wearer's ribcage. The collar and boarder at the bottom are approximately 2 inches wide.

	Skirt Knee length skirt is made from leather or leather like material.  High waist with a wrapping style design. The skirt opening is located near the costumer’s mid-section.  There is no hem on the front edge or bottom.  Dark colored nylon leggings are worn with the skirt.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a single seam at the back center. Double stitched vertical seams on both sides and back center.

	Belt Belt is black and approximately 2.5 inches wide. There is white trim at the top and bottom. The belt is secured with a shiny metal buckle. Just in front of the holster is a leather strip that is weaved inside the belt 4 times creating loops to hold the caps. A holster is attached to the belt at the wearers right hip. It has a single white vertical strip towards the back.  Inside the loops are 4 silver caps. The caps have detailed points at the top and bottom.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The belt is approximately 2.5 inches tall and the trim is approximately 2 mm wide. The buckle is approximately 3 inches by 2.5 inches. The belt has two strips of decorative stitching on the belt, they run parallel with the white trim edges.

	Boots Boots are black and have a heel, if a zipper is present it is located on the inside of the boot. On both sides of the boot a small greeblie with a red dot on the left and a metal oval at the bottom is attached to the top portion of the boot.  Below this top greeblie is a set of three (3) small bars no wider than the greeblie.  Gloss black ankle spat on the boot covers the front and wraps around the sides. The stitching on the spat is white and there are two rivets holding a leather strap around the back of the boot. The spat is secured by a smaller spandex strap.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): There is a thin strip of stretch fabric running the length of the boot at the back.

	Necklace A thin silver chain with a rectangular bar. The center is recessed and black.  The necklace is attached at the right and left side of the bar.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The bar is approximately 1.5 inches long by .5cm tall. The edges of the bar are rounded. There is no hook on the bar design and is flush against the chain.

	Earrings Simple chunky hoop earrings that are silver in color and wrap around the costumer’s ear.

	Ring Worn on the costumer’s right hand pinky and is a single black ring with a green jewel in the center.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The black section is slightly raised where the green jewel is located.

	Bracelet Bracelet worn on the costumer’s left arm, it is silver in color. The bracelet is a wide bar, and is a cuff. The bracelet has two rectangles cut into the back side of the opening.

Optional Accessories

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

	Nails The costumer’s nails are painted in a dark metallic color.
	OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): The costumer’s nails are painted black metallic with green and gold overtones.

	Brand Crimson Dawn brand is created using makeup or prosthetic, it is located on the costumer’s inner right wrist. The brand is partially concealed by the jackets sleeve. Darker than the costumer’s skin tone in color. The design is a circular shape with another half circle.

	Gloves Simple black leather or leather like gloves with a D shape in the top.

---

	Fur Coat Brown fur pelt or simulated natural tone pelt with hints of black. The pelt has a full top and ends in points, it wraps around the wearers shoulders.  The pelt is uneven and approximately elbow length around the costumer.

	Communicator Communicator with silver details and a small red button. The device is as tall as the belt. Communicator is affixed onto the belt just behind the holster.

---

	Blaster Double-Barrel Blaster is silver in color.
